About NYSC

New York Surrogacy Center, also known as NYSC, is a for-profit, full-service surrogacy agency based in Albany, New York, founded in 2020. According to its own site and social profiles, it screens and matches surrogates and intended parents and guides both sides through the journey from first contact through delivery. A directory listing describes the agency as focused on local matches within New York and surrounding states.

The Men Having Babies Surrogacy Advisor listing states that NYSC was created by attorneys Casey Copps DiPaola and Joe Williams of the firm Copps DiPaola Silverman, PLLC, with Casey Copps DiPaola serving as Director of Intended Parent Services and Joe Williams as Director of Surrogate Services; both are described there as advocates for New York's Child-Parent Security Act. The team appears to be small, with a handful of named staff including the two attorney-founders and paralegal staff. The agency says it is licensed by the New York State Department of Health as a surrogacy matching program.

NYSC works with LGBTQ+ intended parents and single intended parents, as well as couples. As a full-service program, it handles the screening and matching of gestational carriers and stays involved with both parties through the pregnancy. Its published criteria for surrogates cover age, prior pregnancy and delivery history, and health and lifestyle requirements; those details, along with the agency's published fee information, appear in the tables below.

Among published accounts from intended parents, matching is a recurring topic, with several describing how their match came about and how the agency stayed involved afterward. The agency's Facebook business page shows a recommendation metric based on a small number of reviews, and the Men Having Babies listing notes that it has not received enough reviews there for an aggregate score.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about New York Surrogacy Center. From my very first phone call with Joe to the end of my journey with my coordinator, Serena, I always felt supported, valued, and genuinely cared for. Surrogacy is such an emotional and deeply personal experience, and they made me feel like I was part of something truly special every step of the way. Joe was kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable from day one, and Serena was an incredible source of support throughout my journey. She was compassionate, responsive, and always there whenever I had questions or needed reassurance. I will always be grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and heart that everyone at New York Surrogacy Center showed me. They made an unforgettable impact on my life, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering being a surrogate.

If you have come to consider surrogacy, just send the email to NYSC - you won't regret it! You will hear back from them promptly and they will confidently and kindly answer any questions on your mind. The process of using a gestational carrier is utterly overwhelming, with a lot of twists and turns and many different phases. It is invaluable to have a strong and knowledgeable team standing behind you - for guidance and also for encouragement - and NYSC does this with ease. They have an incredible understanding - legally and psychologically- on the process of surrogacy and we felt we had a confident guiding light throughout every single phase of our journey. We are forever grateful for their assistance in helping us achieve our family dreams!

Casey, Joe, Melissa, and the rest of the NYSC team did a fabulous job matching us with our surrogate/gestational carrier, providing guidance throughout the process, and recommending reputable lawyers and other providers. Our surrogate is lovely and wanted to help us for all the right reasons. Every pregnancy will have its ups and downs, but our experience overall was great and culminated in our precious baby boy. We are eternally grateful.
