About CCRM Fertility of New York

CCRM Fertility of New York is a fertility clinic and IVF practice, part of the CCRM Fertility network, rather than a surrogacy matching agency. For intended parents pursuing surrogacy, a clinic like this is where the medical side of the journey happens: creating embryos through IVF and carrying out the embryo transfer and monitoring cycles with a gestational carrier. According to the clinic's website, its services include IUI, IVF, ICSI, preimplantation genetic testing, egg freezing, donor egg and donor sperm options, LGBTQIA+ family building, and gestational carrier support.

The practice's main New York City office is on 7th Avenue in Manhattan, with a second Staten Island location that was formerly the Institute for Reproductive Medicine & Science site absorbed by CCRM. The clinic says gestational carrier matching itself is handled through outside agency partners, so intended parents typically work with a separate surrogacy agency for matching, case management and legal work, while the clinic handles the medical treatment.

CCRM Fertility of New York is a for-profit practice operating within a national network. Ownership changes have occurred at the corporate parent level rather than at this location: TA Associates' stake in CCRM was acquired by Altas Partners and Ares in 2021 through a partnership with Unified Women's Healthcare, and PitchBook records CCRM Management Company as acquired by Unified Women's Healthcare in October 2023.

The clinic states that it serves LGBTQ+ intended parents alongside other patients, and it offers donor egg options in addition to gestational carrier care. Medical criteria for gestational carriers working with the practice, together with BBB information, appear in the details below.

Recent ownership change: Corporate-parent level, not local: TA Associates' stake in CCRM was acquired by Altas Partners and Ares in July 2021 through a strategic partnership with Unified Women's Healthcare (ta.com portfolio page); PitchBook records CCRM Management Company as acquired by Unified Women's Healthcare on 09-Oct-2023. No evidence of a change of control of the New York practice itself. The NY footprint grew by acquisition — the Staten Island site is the former IRMS (Institute for Reproductive Medicine & Science) location absorbed by CCRM.

Dr. Levine is an exceptional fertility specialist. I highly recommend him. From our very first consultation, his depth of expertise was clear he took the time to thoroughly explain our treatment options and walked us through the reasoning behind each recommendation. Also, he made us feel confident. The CCRM NY nurses are adorable, supportive, and sweet. I feel very lucky to have had them be part of my journey. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
