Overall we have a negative experience. At the beginning Carrie kept trash-talking other agencies and made it sound like her agency was better than everyone else. In reality, she used the same shady tactics. To give one example, she kept happing about how other "baby factories" give fixed costs and use one profit cycle to supplement a loss one. Well guess what, she also offers fixed cost programs. She has a lot of experiences, especially in how to milk as much money out of you as possible. The hidden costs escalate very quickly. She always pretended to give as much warnings as possible but in reality she gave out trivial warnings while with-holding the ones that actually give you pause. Did she tell you that if your surrogate backed out, you'd have to pay her $3500 for her to match you with another surrogate? Did she tell you her back out rate? I can tell you that she has very minimal incentive to match well because everytime they back out she gets to pocket another $3500. After a long journey with her, we cut our losses and just went with another agency. Edit: a response to Carrie's comment. This is indeed my alt account. I am still on my surrogacy journey in Mexico and cannot risk Carrie finding out about me and retaliating. If you join one of the Intended Parent Facebook group, you will know that Carrie have threatened legal actions against a different parent for leaving negative feedback on her. If she retaliates against me in Mexico, I'd have very minimal protection there. During the journey, I have caught her lying or omitting information multiple times. Like I said I can't go into too much details here without doxing myself; maybe when I'm finish with surrogacy I'll update this comment with the details. Regarding her claim about how she doesn't benefit from the $3500 rematching fee, oh yes she definitely does. How stupid does she think us parents are? There is no way rematching in Mexico costs that much; simple math... Surrogate compensation in Mexico for 9 months pregnancy is ~$15,000; $3500 is 23% of that... she definitely pockets a handsome amount from that. Lol you can read it from her response; what do you think "Administrative steps to initiate a new legal surrogate (attorney) file" is? She takes no responsibility when anything goes wrong. She just says oops too bad, that's just how it is, pay me more. She knows that us parents have sunk so much money with her that it's difficult to do anything. Half the time she didn't warn us about what can go wrong. We are with a different agency now; we won't name them until we are done with surrogacy, but they are more ethical. When bad things happen, they take responsibility appropriately, give partial refund and/or discount for re-do.

My donor was extremely responsible and professional during the process. Carrie goes above and beyond, and also told it to me straight a few times when I needed to hear it, which I really appreciated. She said the words I most needed to hear, "I got you!", which greatly relieved my stress. I'm so grateful for her quick response time and the efforts she put into my experience. I'm happy to report that I'm 5 weeks pregnant on the first try, and I owe it all to Carrie and Eggspecting!!!

Let's be honest, the surrogacy process is difficult, expensive, complex and constantly changing. As we found out there are some unscrupulous traders out there ready to take your money and not deliver a lot. In that world we found Carrie to be a huge breath of fresh air. She was completely open and honest with us and spent a significant amount of time to not only explain the process from her agency's side but educate us on the in's and outs of surrogacy and guide us on options when it came to areas that she wasn't obligated to help us with. At every step in the process we knew Eggspecting had our back and they truly wanted the best result for us. We felt like more than just a number. Our son is now 5 years old and on occasion Carrie or her teams till reach out to us and we've been lucky enough to be put in touch with our son's half brothers and sisters from across the world as our Egg Donor donated to multiple familes. If we were to go again I'd only consider Eggspecting and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carrie and the team to anyone considering surrogacy.
