Family Solutions International is a for-profit, full-service surrogacy and egg donor agency headquartered in Houston, Texas. It operates as an umbrella brand for several sister companies: 3 Sisters Surrogacy, which handles surrogacy matching, The Donor Solution, which handles egg donation, and The Fertility Consultants, a consulting arm. The founder and chief executive is Mary M. Fusillo, RN, BSN, MS, and the organization describes a small team that includes a chief operating officer, case managers, and a chief scientific officer with an embryology background.
According to the agency, it matches egg donors and gestational surrogates with intended parents in the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe and China. Its work is built around bringing both surrogacy and egg donation under one roof, so families pursuing either path — or both — can work with the same organization. Intended parents who are LGBTQ+, single, or living outside the United States are all served. Surrogates apply as U.S. citizens living in states where surrogacy arrangements are practiced; the full eligibility criteria, along with published fee ranges and surrogate compensation ranges, appear below.
The agency says it participates in Men Having Babies' Surrogacy Advisor program and its Gay Parenting Assistance Program, which offers financial help to gay intended parents, and it is listed in that organization's provider directory.
Several surrogates writing in public provider directories describe the agency's communication as a defining part of their experience, mentioning clear explanations of paperwork and steps and quick replies from staff by text and email. The agency also publishes testimonials on its own sites from surrogates and from intended parents.
The individual sister brands predate the umbrella: the agency describes The Donor Solution as beginning in 2007, 3 Sisters Surrogacy in 2012, and The Fertility Consultants in 2019, with the three later consolidated under the Family Solutions International name.

I debated whether to write this review, but this process is far too serious and personal not to be honest. Unfortunately, our experience with Mary M. Fusillo was marked by poor communication, unprofessional behavior, and a lack of empathy. While I’m glad other families may have had positive experiences, I cannot recommend this agency without a significant reevaluation of how clients are supported. Communication from Mary and her team was inconsistent and disorganized. During conversations, Mary frequently interrupted or cut me off while I was speaking, despite being allowed to speak uninterrupted herself, which felt dismissive and unprofessional given the sensitive nature of the process. Additionally, the team repeatedly requested documentation in a piecemeal manner and, at times, asked us to resend documents that had already been provided and were in their possession, creating unnecessary confusion and stress. These issues were not apparent during the initial consultation, when Mary presented herself as attentive and supportive. Over time, however, a very different pattern emerged. In our experience, she is not suited to serve as a family advocate. We are grateful we recognized these concerns before making a full financial commitment. Transparency is important so other families can make informed decisions.
View on Google (opens in a new tab)Wow just wow! We worked closely with Julia and she helped us navigate this process with grace and empathy. We are proud to say that we have been blessed with a beautiful and healthy baby boy! Thank you, Julia and team! We are eternally grateful.
View on Google (opens in a new tab)I had such a great experience here! They were great with communication, and being there for me when I needed support through the entire process. I was surprised with flowers afterwards as well! I thought that was so nice of them! Great experience overall!
View on Google (opens in a new tab)I will file a complaint against family solution because they do not explain how to make the application online and apart from the fact that they do not explain how to do it, they do not have the option of making the application written in paper documents. Because not all of us know how to do that online application that they tell us to do, it is very unfair that this happens in this company
