Family Source Consultants, LLC is a for-profit, full-service gestational surrogacy and egg donation agency founded in 2007. It is headquartered in Chicago, with additional offices in Illinois and Florida, and works with intended parents in the United States and abroad. Staci Swiderski is the founder and chief executive, and Zara Griswold is listed as co-founder; the team numbers roughly two dozen staff.
As a full-service agency, Family Source Consultants handles the surrogacy journey end to end: matching intended parents with gestational carriers, screening and coordination with fertility clinics, case management through pregnancy and delivery, and coordination of the legal and financial steps along the way. Escrow for surrogate funds is handled through SeedTrust Escrow, a third-party escrow provider. The agency also runs an egg donation program, so families who need both a donor and a carrier can arrange them in one place.
The agency works with heterosexual couples, LGBTQ+ intended parents, and single people, and describes itself on its website as an international agency, with experience serving intended parents living outside the United States. Surrogate applicants are accepted from most U.S. states, with a small number of exceptions, and must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Detailed eligibility requirements, compensation ranges, and published fee information appear further down this page.
Family Source Consultants participates in Men Having Babies' Surrogacy Advisor provider directory and its Gay Parenting Assistance Program, an organization that connects gay intended parents with surrogacy providers and financial assistance. The agency has operated under the same name since it was founded, and the principal changes over the years have been relocations of its offices rather than changes in ownership.

Reviews of Family Source Consultants are largely positive, with many surrogates and intended parents describing responsive, caring case managers who explain each step and offer steady support. A smaller group, mostly intended parents, report matching that took longer than they were told, frustration with refund and fee terms, and surprises around surrogate insurance. A few surrogates were unhappy with how disputes or their removal from the program were handled.

I applied to be a surrogate with this agency ! A little back story i am 45 years old but did have 2 previous experiences with this agency which were Great . Susie definitely was lovely an professional i was ultimately denied because she said my medical history would not pass at my age very disappointing. Fast forward I m with another agency an approved by a maternal fetal medicine specialist. I think I should have been disapproved by the clinic not this agency .
View on Google (opens in a new tab)FSC has been great from the start of our whole process. They were very good at explaining each step and guiding us through our journey. Whenever we had questions/concerns they responded quickly and really made us feel comfortable. FSC has been there through thick and thin with us and we couldn’t be more grateful for them. We highly recommend them!!
View on Google (opens in a new tab)We had our 4 children via 3 surrogacy journeys in the span of 10 years working with FSC. Although staff were different each time, the high quality of service was always the same. I would strongly recommend FSC.
View on Google (opens in a new tab)We have been absolutely blown away by Family Source Consultants (FSC). After nearly a year of attempting a surrogacy journey on our own, we realized we needed the help of an agency. Through lots of research, reading online reviews, and meeting with various agencies, we finally decided to move forward with FSC. It was 100% the right choice. Tiffany and the entire team have been incredibly supportive, proactively reaching out and keeping us updated every step of the way. They have made the entire process feel extremely easy and stress-free. This is what a true team of caring, supportive, professional, and experienced people looks like. We are navigating this process with the most incredible gestational carrier and are now halfway through our journey, three years after we first started looking on our own. Our baby boy is due this November! We couldn’t be more thrilled and truly couldn’t have done this without the help and support of FSC through all the stressful, difficult, and emotional challenges. As recipients of their March Grant, their financial assistance has also been a massive blessing to us. We would 110% recommend FSC to anyone considering surrogacy. If we decide to grow our family again in the future, we already know FSC will be our agency.
