Same Love Surrogacy is a for-profit, full-service surrogacy and egg donation agency founded in 2014 and based in the Los Angeles area of California. It describes itself as an agency dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ individuals and couples grow their families, and it is gay-owned; the founding team is described as three gay fathers together with a surrogate who carried four times.
As a full-service agency, Same Love coordinates a journey from end to end rather than handling a single piece of it. That includes matching intended parents with gestational carriers, screening surrogates, and assigning a dedicated coordinator to support both sides through the medical, legal and logistical steps. The agency also runs an egg donation program, so intended parents who need donor eggs can arrange that alongside their surrogacy match.
The agency works with LGBTQ+ intended parents, single parents and international intended parents, in addition to couples building families through gestational surrogacy. Surrogate applicants are expected to be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, to be non-smokers, and to be parenting a child at home; the full eligibility criteria, along with published agency fees and surrogate compensation ranges, appear in the tables below.
Same Love is listed as a provider in the Men Having Babies Surrogacy Advisor directory, a resource aimed at gay intended parents. Several intended parents and surrogates writing about their experience describe close, responsive day-to-day contact with the agency's owners and coordinators.

Reviewers from intended parents, surrogates and egg donors are overwhelmingly positive, often describing caring, responsive coordinators and a smooth, well-organized process, with many saying they returned for a second or third journey. A small number of reviewers were unhappy, mainly surrogates who felt the agency did not advocate for them when problems arose, and intended parents who said matching took longer than promised.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Heath and the entire agency. We’ve now completed two family-building journeys with them, and both experiences have helped us grow our family in ways we will always be grateful for. As an LGBTQ+ family, having an agency that understands and supports our journey made such a difference. We always felt supported, informed, and cared for throughout the process. We are now a family of four, and we truly couldn’t be more grateful. We highly recommend Heath and the agency to anyone considering building their family. ❤️
View on Google (opens in a new tab)It started with a thought, a dream, “As a man can I have a baby on my own?”. I had no idea what the process involved or even where to begin. After a few Google searches, I landed on the Same Love Surrogacy website. Right away, it felt warm and personal, very different from the other agencies I found which were corporate and impersonal Immediately I could tell these people were the ones who can help me with my wishes! My intended parent coordinator, Heath, was incredibly patient, answering all of my questions and giving me a broad understanding of the timeline. We grew and conversations got more granular, set expectations, discussed milestones and what to look out for in case things don’t work out as hoped. I genuinely looked forward to every email as my understanding of the process grew and saw how the agency acted as a hub between the people involved, clinics, doctors, lawyers and me! Without that guidance and coordination, the entire experience would have been completely overwhelming. The hand-holding and personal support I received from Same Love made all the difference. I reached my goal and became a father to the most beautiful little girl in the world, I cant thank Same Love enough for helping this man build a family and a chance at life to love!

I always felt comfortable opening up about any issues or questions I may had or even just thought of no matter what time of day. They make sure to make you feel at top priority at all times can't wait for my next journey
View on Google (opens in a new tab)I can't say enough wonderful things about Same Love Surrogacy, being a first time surrogate, currently age 41 and delivered a beautiful healthy baby boy in May 2026. In December 2024 after discussing a lifelong dream of mine with my husband, we signed up with SLS through my good long-time friend & coordinator Ashley, who is also a successful surrogate herself. I was so impressed with all of Ashley's industry knowledge, past experiences and general information that it made the entire process so flawless. My situation was a little different as I was older, did not have insurance, and had to get a few female checkups out of the way before I could get cleared to proceed, but thankfully I was able to get it handled quickly and painlessly. It did not take very long for me to match with a wonderful male couple with whom both my husband & I had the best Zoom call with, and I knew immediately that I wanted to be their surrogate. Ashley took the time to walk us through next steps, legal expectations, and responsibilities on my end for all the big and little stuff in between. I was really thankful as well for the other SLS coordinators who stepped in to assist when my coordinator was out of office so I was not left alone at any point of the entire process. I had looked into surrogacy years ago but got so overwhelmed with the lack of information or help that I ended up not even reaching out to some of the agencies but I'm so glad I did this past year. If you are looking to donate or become a surrogate, I highly recommend submitting your information and speaking with their wonderful staff. SLS will explain the entire process, assist you every step of the way and actually be there from the beginning to the end of each journey. I am currently healing up from my first journey but will be able to begin my second surrogacy journey May 2027. I do have to say, though, that communication and building a relationship with the intended parents are key to a successful and happy journey. Unfortunately, not all journeys are sunshine and rainbows, but I know for mine both myself and my husband were on a big group text chat with the intended parents in which we texted almost daily, shared everyday pictures of our lives, activities, and families with them and vice versa. I'm happy to say that I cherish their friendship every day for that openness that helped in building a great foundation throughout the journey that continues even now today.
