About Supportive Conceptions Surrogacy Agency

Supportive Conceptions Surrogacy Agency, LLC is a small, for-profit surrogacy agency based in Chico, California. It was founded in 2015 and remains owner-operated, with a team of roughly three people. The principal is Kimberley (Kim) Humble, who also runs Chico Doula Circle.

The agency offers a full-service program, meaning it coordinates a surrogacy journey from matching through the arrangements that follow, rather than handling a single piece of the process. Its work centers on Northern California: surrogates applying to the program are expected to live in that region, and the agency does not work with surrogates living outside the United States.

Supportive Conceptions works with intended parents including LGBTQ+ couples and single parents. On its website, the agency describes its growth over roughly nine years as coming from Kim's dedication to building relationships with clients and surrogates and to creating families, and it presents matching as a personal, hands-on process led by the owner.

Because the practice is small, intended parents and surrogates generally deal directly with the owner rather than with a large case-management team. Eligibility requirements, fees and compensation details, and licensing information appear below.

Back in 2019 I was introduced to Kim at Supportive Conceptions Surrogacy after finding out my 'second parents' daughter was looking for a surrogate. I was totally up for helping another family out. After having my first 'belly buddy', I was blessed with having 2 more for another family, all with Kim's help. During all 3 surrogate journey's, it's one thing to be the carrier, but it's another having to deligate all the paperwork, legal process and other major key points to making a journey like this run smooth. Kim's ability to manage such tasks was very natural to her and communication was also key. I highly recommend Kim if your an intended parent or surrogate in need of services.

Amazing Northern California Surrogacy agency. From start to finish I felt supported! Kim or Samantha were available for any questions or concerns at all times, they organize meetups with other surrogates in the area so having a group of women going through the same process felt so reassuring.
