The Center for Surrogacy & Egg Donation, Inc., also known as CSED, is a for-profit, full-service surrogacy and egg donation agency based in Massachusetts. The agency describes itself as working with three groups at once: intended parents building their families, gestational carriers, and egg donors.
As a full-service agency, CSED coordinates a journey from end to end rather than handling a single piece of it. That model typically brings matching, case management through the pregnancy, and the legal and financial arrangements that surround a surrogacy under one roof, and CSED also runs its own egg donation program for intended parents who need a donor as well as a carrier.
The agency works with intended parents of many backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ couples and individuals, single parents by choice, and intended parents living outside the United States. On the surrogate side, CSED asks that applicants live in a surrogate-friendly U.S. state; it does not state a citizenship or immigration-status requirement. Its full screening criteria, including age, pregnancy history, and household requirements, appear in the eligibility details further down this page.
CSED publishes its fees, and the compensation range it offers surrogates is listed below along with the rest of its program details. The agency says on its website that it has helped more than 2,000 couples grow their families over the course of its work in surrogacy and egg donation.

As intended parents, my husband and I worked with CSED to both select an egg donor and get matched with a surrogate. We had the privilege to work with Bob, Dane, Liz, and Maryann, all of whom helped us feel supported every step of the way on our journey to become first-time parents. We also had the honor to work with Leslie and Kathleen of the Nichols, DeLisle, and Lightholder, P.C. law firm, both of whom inspired confidence as they were clearly experienced in reproductive law. Not only that, they were both easy to talk to and happily answered all of our questions about egg donation and surrogacy agreements. Recently, we welcomed a beautiful baby boy to our family, and couldn't be more in love. We are so grateful to CSED for helping us realize our family planning goals. Our son is a dream come true, and we fully intend to work with CSED in the future for kid #2!

View on Google (opens in a new tab)Both of my children were born with the assistance of CSED. I sincerely appreciated their kindness, professionalism and guidance in an unfamiliar and difficult situation as we were trying to start our family. If anyone ever asks me for a recommendation with regard to Surrogacy, I unhesitatingly recommend CSED.
