Canadian Surrogacy Community is a for-profit surrogacy and egg donation agency based in Exeter, Ontario. It was founded and is directed by Angela Truppe, who the agency says has been a gestational surrogate three times herself. Alongside the main brand, the company runs an egg donor division, Evolution Eggs, established in May 2021 under the same founder.
The agency works with both intended parents and prospective surrogates, and offers a full-service program: matching, coordination of the journey, and referrals to the professionals a surrogacy arrangement involves, including lawyers, counsellors and medical providers. Egg donation is offered through Evolution Eggs, so intended parents who need a donor as well as a gestational carrier can arrange both through the same organization. Intended parents living outside Canada are welcome, while surrogates are expected to be Canadian.
It describes itself on its website as a small boutique service, with the founder supported by a small team that includes an intended parent coach and a dedicated support person. Community is a stated part of the model: the agency says it maintains private peer groups where surrogates and intended parents can connect with others going through the same process, rather than relying only on staff contact.
The agency states that it supports LGBTQ+ intended parents and, according to its website, has been active in the Canadian surrogacy community for a number of years before and through the life of the business.
