CCRM Fertility, also known as CCRM, is not a surrogacy matching agency. It is a for-profit network of fertility clinics, founded in 1987, that provides the medical side of third-party reproduction: IVF, genetic testing, donor services and the treatment cycles that a gestational carrier arrangement requires. Intended parents who work with a separate matching agency or find a carrier independently would typically come to a clinic like this one for the embryo creation, screening and transfer stages of the journey.
The network is headquartered in Lone Tree, Colorado, with additional Colorado locations in Denver, Louisville and Colorado Springs, and clinics in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Newark (Delaware), Washington, D.C., Virginia, New Jersey, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Minneapolis, Scottsdale, San Francisco, Newport Beach and Washington State. PitchBook records roughly 560 employees across the organization.
CCRM's clinic pages describe gestational carrier support, third-party reproduction and egg and sperm donor services, including an in-house national egg donor database. It serves LGBTQ+ and single intended parents. Surrogate recruiting, matching, case management, escrow and legal services are handled elsewhere; the clinic's role is medical. The agency describes itself on its website as "a global pioneer in fertility treatment, research and science," and says it participates in the Men Having Babies Surrogacy Advisor program.
CCRM is a member of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART). The network is owned by private-equity investors, and its own site describes CCRM as a strategic partner of Unified Women's Healthcare. It has also grown by acquiring existing practices, among them RADfertility in Delaware in December 2022, Society Hill Reproductive Medicine in Philadelphia, New Hope Center for Reproductive Medicine and ACFS Fertility in Arizona, several of which now operate under the CCRM name.

Recent ownership change: Not a recent change in the last 12 months, but ownership has turned over in the PE market: TA Associates' interest was bought out by Altas Partners and Ares in a strategic partnership with Unified Women's Healthcare announced 18 Jun 2021 (BusinessWire; TA portfolio page says July 2021). CCRM's own site/press releases describe CCRM as 'a proud strategic partner of Unified Women's Healthcare.' PitchBook records the acquisition by Unified as 09 Oct 2023 and Mergr as 18 Jun 2021 — the 2023 date is likely a close/restructure entry rather than the announcement; flagged for human review. CCRM has also been the acquirer in roll-ups (RADfertility, Dec 2022; New Hope Center for Reproductive Medicine; Society Hill Reproductive Medicine; ACFS Fertility in AZ).
AI summary of 150 reviews · can make mistakes
Reviews are sharply divided. Many reviewers describe kind, welcoming staff, attentive doctors and well-organized clinic days, and several say they came after disappointing experiences elsewhere. A large share of reviewers, though, report serious frustration with billing, insurance handling, refunds and reaching the finance team, and some also describe referral, scheduling and follow-up communication problems.

I wanted to believe that a facility as renown would be able to help women like me with low ovarian reserve (I'm 38), but after testing, they refused IVF with the excuse that it's a health risk. To be clear, the risks were nothing more than any woman experiences through IVF and that I may get 0-1 eggs. The truth of the matter is that they don't want to impact their success rates. I've had two miscarriages previously and nothing in my testing came back abnormal other than my low egg count. I was shocked that Dr. Von Wald denied me even though I accepted the "health risks." Otherwise the rest of the staff were wonderful. This is less of a knock on the CCRM staff and more of a cautionary review for women with low ovarian reserve. One last thing...I was diligent about going through my entire checklist to ensure timely testing. I scheduled everything immediately. What's NOT on the list is the follow up with the doctor to review results. They called me to schedule and said the doctor could see me in 2 months(!). Luckily I called two days later and snagged an earlier appointment, but be certain to schedule that post-testing followup since it's not something they add to the list for some reason.

View on Google (opens in a new tab)All of the staff (specifically referring to the Lone Tree location) is incredibly well-informed, and everyone is so kind and empathetic. Dr. Gustafson was easy to talk to, informative, and incredibly smart well spoken. Our nurse, Katie, is amazing, along with our genetic counselor and every person at the front desk. After working with another fertility clinic back in Illinois, this clinic was a breathe of fresh air and I’m so thrilled to be working with them.
View on Google (opens in a new tab)I cannot express how grateful I am for my experience at CCRM Lone Tree! Everyone from reception to doctors were incredibly inviting and so kind. Mickey was truly a pleasure to talk with in between sessions. Maggie was super helpful and informative and I just couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
